Child & Teen Hypnotherapy & Mentorship

Calmer minds. Greater confidence. Positive change.

Growing up can bring many challenges. From exam pressure and school-related anxiety to low confidence, overthinking and worries about the future, children and teenagers can sometimes struggle to manage the thoughts and emotions that affect their everyday lives.

Through child and teen hypnotherapy, I offer a supportive, relaxed and understanding space where young people can explore these challenges, develop helpful ways of thinking and build greater confidence in themselves.

Drawing on my experience in hypnotherapy, performance coaching and wellbeing, I use tailored approaches to help young people feel calmer, strengthen their self-belief and develop practical tools to navigate the pressures of school, exams, relationships and everyday life.

How can hypnotherapy help?

Sessions can be tailored to support young people with:

  • Exam stress and performance anxiety – feeling calmer, more focused and better prepared for exams and assessments.

  • Confidence and self-esteem – developing a stronger sense of self-belief and recognising their own abilities.

  • Worry and overthinking – learning to manage unhelpful thought patterns and approach challenges with greater perspective.

  • Relaxation and emotional wellbeing – developing techniques to support calmness, emotional regulation and resilience.

  • Fear of failure and pressure – building a healthier relationship with mistakes, expectations and the challenges of growing up.

  • Positive habits and mindset – encouraging more helpful ways of thinking, responding and moving forward.

A supportive approach tailored to each young person

Every child and teenager is different. My approach recognises their individual needs, personality and circumstances, creating sessions that are age-appropriate, supportive and focused on their personal goals.

Hypnotherapy can help young people develop greater awareness of how their minds work, practise relaxation and visualisation techniques, and build more constructive responses to situations that previously felt overwhelming.

*Where appropriate, parents or carers can be fully involved in the process, helping to reinforce positive changes and support progress beyond the sessions. I also invite parents to be present at the session.

Helping young people feel more confident about the future

My aim is to help children and teenagers develop skills they can carry with them throughout life — learning to manage pressure, trust themselves, respond to challenges and recognise their own potential.

Whether your child is struggling with exam nerves, confidence or everyday worries, taking the first step towards support can make a meaningful difference.

Calmer minds. Greater confidence. A more positive way forward.

What Does a Child or Teen Hypnotherapy Session Look Like?

Every young person is different, so I tailor my approach to their individual needs, age and goals. The process is designed to be supportive, collaborative and practical, helping them develop skills they can continue to use in everyday life.

1. Initial Online Consultation

We begin with an initial online consultation to understand your child's needs, the challenges they are experiencing and what they would like to achieve. Where appropriate, parents or carers are involved in this process to provide additional insight, discuss concerns and help establish clear goals for the sessions.

This initial conversation allows me to develop an understanding of your child's circumstances and consider how hypnotherapy may best support them.

2. Your Child's Personalised Session

The hypnotherapy session is tailored to your child's individual needs and goals, providing a calm, supportive environment in which they can develop greater confidence, relaxation and emotional awareness.

Depending on their needs, the session may incorporate guided relaxation, visualisation, positive suggestion and techniques designed to help them respond differently to situations that previously caused stress, anxiety or self-doubt.

The aim is to help them develop a more positive relationship with their thoughts and feelings, while strengthening the inner resources they can draw upon when facing everyday challenges.

3. A Personalised Recording to Practice at Home

Following the session, your child will receive a personalised recording to listen to and practise between sessions.

This recording helps reinforce the themes and techniques explored during their session, giving them an opportunity to revisit the experience in a familiar environment and develop greater confidence in using these skills independently.

Regular practice can help make relaxation techniques and positive mental strategies a more familiar part of everyday life, particularly when preparing for exams, managing pressure or navigating challenging situations.

Supporting Positive Change Beyond the Session

The work doesn't stop when the session ends. By combining personalised hypnotherapy with ongoing practice, young people have the opportunity to build skills that support their confidence, emotional wellbeing and ability to manage life's challenges.

My aim is to help each young person develop practical tools they can carry forward and to feel more capable of navigating the challenges ahead.
